The intranda viewer is the key component in your digital library. With it, you can present digital content to your website visitors in a contemporary form. Use it for browsing your digital collections or conducting complex full-text searches. Discover its flexibility – it is suitable for digitised individual sheets, entire books as well as audio and video material. Help to actively shape the digital era – as a library, museum, archive, publisher or any other institution.
In the academic world in particular, there is currently a huge increase in the number of books being digitised. Libraries, archives and museums are all working to maintain their cultural assets in digital form. The primary aims of digitisation are to preserve works or to ensure access to valuable cultural assets to which interested parties could otherwise not gain access.
The highly configurable intranda viewer satisfies all of these requirements and presents all types of digitised content in a modern web interface. Whether you are using images, audio or video, the contents conflate into the intranda viewer to form one presentation.
The intranda viewer visualises all your digital content. Based on standardised metadata formats, it presents your digitised material and provides you with useful and modern methods to navigate content and also actively contribute your own content. For example, books can be browsed page-by-page, or the digital table of contents can be used as an entry point. You can make your content available for download, e.g. on a chapter-by-chapter basis or as entire works in the form of PDF/A files that can subsequently be archived. Using a licence management system you can determine who will have access to your content, by allowing specific IP ranges or individual users to access protected content.
